Failed to add installation. No supported app found.
If you are trying to insert an existing application in your Site Tools -> Dev -> App installer, but the tool can not detect it properly, the error “Failed to add installation. No supported app found.” would be returned.
If you see the error message, ensure that:
- The application is one of the supported application types available in our App installer tool.
- Check if the application original files and structure are preserved. If there are any custom changes, our tool can not detect the application properly.
- Double check the configuration file of the application (for WordPress that is the wp-config.php) and ensure that its original structure is intact. If there is any custom code, rules or specific custom settings this might interfere with our tool and it will not detect the application correctly.
