Where Can Recipients See The Business Information

Once you’ve added your business details, future campaigns will display them in the email’s footer section. These details will match the ones you entered in the Business Information section of the Email Marketing service.

How recipients see the business information in marketing emails

By default, your phone number is not displayed in email campaigns. To make it visible, open the Email Builder > Design > Footer, and turn on the slider Show your phone number.

Why Adding Business Information Is Important

Including your business details is crucial for the success of your email marketing campaigns. It is also a legal requirement for email marketing in many countries. This is the reason why the Email Marketing service will prompt you to fill in your details before you are allowed to send a campaign. In case they are missing, you will see the warning message below.

Including business information in your marketing emails also benefits your business in several ways.

  • Increased brand awareness – Recipients of marketing emails with correct and concise business information will recognize your brand better. As a result, your brand awareness will increase.
  • Increased brand reputation – Every business should be transparent about its operations. Recipients will perceive your company as legitimate and trustworthy when they are aware of who’s contacting them.
  • Increased deliverability – Many email filters employ strict rules toward marketing emails. The CAN-SPAM Act outlines the fundamental principles to which business emails must adhere. One of its most critical requirements is for marketing emails to include correct and clear business information. Following these guidelines will help improve your email deliverability.

What Happens If You Change Your Business Information

At any moment, you can change your business information in Sender Details. This change will be reflected in your existing campaign drafts and future campaigns. However, keep in mind that the business details won’t change in already sent campaigns.
