How to install themes in PrestaShop?
When using PrestaShop for your e-commerce website, you are able to choose between different looks. To install a new PrestaShop theme, you have to download it locally and to extract the archive at your computer.
Then, go to your website’s admin dashboard and click on Design > Theme and Logo. You will be redirected to the Theme management page where you should click on Upload a theme. This would redirect you to the theme installation page where you may install the theme in a few different ways – by importing a file from your computer, by importing from the web via an URL or over FTP connection.
Click on Add file and choose the theme file. When ready click on Save in the related field. Now go back to the Design > Theme and Logo page and find the newly installed theme. When you hover it, an Use this theme button would appear and you should click on it.
That’s it! Your new theme is already installed and active!
